Oh, WOW! This is absolutely fascinating! How do the kids get down the outline of the image to be depicted? I can't imagine an adult managing to get it in proportion let alone a child!
I am watching this with great interest. As you know I teach a class every summer at the Romanian Cathedral in Canton, and my 10 year old has asked if he could join us this year. I am hesitant, as the youngest student I have had was 15 (and painted one of the two best icons of any student)...
